Michaele "Mike" Bennett

June 21, 1937 — April 16, 2020

Michaele “Mike” Ann Bennett, 82, was called home to be with the Lord on April 16, 2020. She was born June 21, 1937, a daughter of the late Frank and Elsie Wilhem.

Ms. Bennett is survived by two sons, Amos Bennett and fiancé Stacy Jo, Bob Bennett and wife Rose, all of Red Creek, West Virginia, three daughters, Debbie Weese of Gallatin, Tennessee, Patty Huffman and husband Steve of Harman, West Virginia, and Karen Rhodes and husband Lawrence of Red Creek, West Virginia, one sister, Mary Pat Wilhem of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, ten grandchildren, Brian Bennett, Vicki Huffman, Katie Hornick, Leslie Bonner, Daniel Weese, Meredith Smith, Stephanie Summerfield, Caroline Bennett, Coy Cummings, and Travis Timmer, and thirteen great-grandchildren, Isaac, Levi, Isabell, Payton, Elizabeth, Ashby, Sophia, Trevan, Addie, Ty, Ravi, Beau, and Evelyn.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her previous husband, Amos “Boss” Bennett, one son-in-law, Kenny Weese and one grandson, Nicholas Rhodes.

Michaele, or as everyone knew her, “Mike”, graduated from a Catholic School in Pittsburgh. Mike was a homemaker and also worked for a period of time as a clerk at Mountain View Farms Feed Store. She was most known for the love and care that she gave to everyone, especially to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was one to never ask for anything from anyone but would give her last dollar to help someone else who was in need. She loved supporting charities and giving to others. Her favorite time was the Christmas season. Her greatest joy in life was the ability to love others and be loved back.

At the request of Ms. Bennett, she will be cremated. No services have been scheduled at this time. Hinkle-Fenner Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements. We encourage our communities to support the family through sharing memories and condolences through our website, www.hinklefennerfuneralhome.com
