Manda Loscar

Manda Loscar, 86, of Thomas, West Virginia passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at Cortland Acres. She was born May 18, 1936, a daughter of the late Griga and Helen Valentic of Croatia.

Manda worked in factories in Europe and was also a housekeeper. She was Catholic by faith. An animal lover, she fed strays, cats, dogs, birds and squirrels

She is survived by five step-daughters, Sylvia and husband William Phillips, Ashburn, Virginia, Frances and husband Barry Urquhart, Aiken, South Carolina, Marie and husband Peter McKane, Summit Wisconsin, Nancy Loscar, Ashburn Virginia, and Linda and husband Steve Shaffer, Thomas, West Virginia; two step-sons, Frank "BJ" Loscar, Monterey, Tennessee, and Edward and wife Susan Loscar, Waukegan, Illinois; three
sisters, Danica Valentic, Dragica Valentic, and Milka Valentic; and one brother, Ante Valentic.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank J. Loscar, in February, 1992, and one sister, Mila Valentic.

Mrs. Loscar's wishes for cremation will be honored. A graveside service will be held at a later date. The Hinkle-Fenner Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family at this time.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the Tucker County Animal Shelter.
