Jason Martin

Jason Thomas Martin, 41, of Rowlesburg, WV, passed away unexpectedly March 3, 2022 at Davis Medical Center in Elkins, WV. He was born August 29, 1980, in Grafton, WV, the son of the surviving Thomas K. and Debera J. (Hershman) Martin.

Jason liked playing his guitar and going to the river in the summertime. He was also an amazing artist. Jason was an electrician by trade and loved to put his expertise to use on anything electrical.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by two children, Julianna and Logan; a sister, Sheena and husband Travis; the love of his life, Carrie, along with several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Bill and Virginia Martin; maternal grandparents, June and Jane Hershman and one uncle.

Friends will be received Sunday, March 13, 2022, from 11 am to 2 pm. A funeral service will be conducted at 2 pm with Pastor Mike Lantz officiating. Following the funeral service, Jason’s request for cremation will be honored. The Hinkle-Fenner Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Martin family at this time.

Jason was an organ donor and was able to give the ultimate gift in life, giving someone else life.
